The complete path from account to connection

45VPN Getting Started Guide

Follow the page order to complete your account, plan, subscription, and client setup. Each step covers only what you need to get started; see the AI Tools access guide for routing concepts and advanced configuration.

No email address required Unlimited devices 14-day refund policy

Create an account

First, open the account creation page in the 45VPN user panel. No email address is required; just choose an easy-to-recognize username and password. Use the username for future logins, store the password separately, and never reuse it on other websites. Submit the form when finished. The system will take you to the user panel; if you remain on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just created.

After entering the panel, check that the username shown at the top or in Account Overview is yours. The account is ready to use, but there is no active subscription to import yet, so there is no need to look for routes. Choose a monthly subscription or traffic package first; once the order is active, the panel will show the subscription details for your account.

If you plan to use multiple devices, you do not need to create a separate account for each one. 45VPN supports unlimited devices, and the same account can be configured on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux. For easier management, complete the full process on your primary device first. Once the connection works, import the subscription on your other devices.

Choose a plan and place your order

After signing in to the user panel, open the Plans section. 45VPN monthly subscriptions reset their data on the monthly anniversary of activation. Available options are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Consider your primary use: occasional research usually requires less data, while extended video viewing, downloads, or simultaneous use on multiple devices consume more. If you are unsure, choose the option closest to your current needs and upgrade later in the panel if necessary.

If your usage varies, consider a traffic package. Packages remain valid until the data is used and do not expire. Available options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. The main difference from a monthly subscription is how data resets: monthly subscriptions reset on the activation date each month, while packages retain the remaining data until it is used. Compare the options against your usage cycle rather than judging by the one-time price alone.

After confirming your plan, open the order page and check the plan name, data allowance, and amount. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to the user panel after payment and wait for the order status to update. Do not submit the same order repeatedly. If the status does not change immediately, return to Account Overview and check again. First-time paid plans include a 14-day refund policy; see the refund policy for eligibility and processing details.

Once the panel shows that the plan is active, continue to retrieve your subscription. If it is still inactive, check whether the order record shows completion, then submit the order details through the support ticket entry in the user panel. Do not create another account.

Get a subscription in the user panel

After the plan becomes active, open Account Overview in the user panel. Subscription details are usually next to the remaining data and plan status. Find the option to copy the subscription or subscription address and copy the link to your clipboard. Clients use this link to retrieve available routes, so you normally do not need to enter server settings one by one.

Your subscription link is an access credential for your account, so protect it like a password. Do not post it in public groups, forums, screenshots, or shared documents, and do not paste it into online conversion pages from unknown sources. To import it on another device you own, use a protected device-sync method or sign in to your user panel and copy it again.

Links shown in this guide are for illustrating the format only and cannot connect to the service. The following is an explicitly fake value:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Only the user panel for your current account can provide a real link. This page does not publish a public subscription address or list static client installers. After copying the link, keep the panel open while you install or open a client for your system, then paste the link through the subscription import option.

Import the client on any platform

Use the client download section in the user panel to get the 45VPN client for your system. Import the subscription after installation rather than searching for similarly named software on an unfamiliar page. Menus differ by platform, but the workflow is the same: open subscription management, choose Add from link, paste the subscription address, save it, and update the server list.

Windows

On Windows, open the 45VPN client and find subscription management in the sidebar or top menu. Choose Import from link or Add subscription, paste the full subscription address, give the configuration a recognizable name, and save it. Return to the subscription list and update it. Once the route names appear, select one.

If nothing happens after pasting, check that there are no extra spaces at either end of the link, then click Update manually. Some clients save a new subscription in the configuration list without switching to it automatically. If so, click the option next to its name to enable it. After confirming that the active configuration has changed, open the connection page.

macOS

On macOS, the 45VPN client entry may be in the main window or the system menu bar. Open the configuration or subscription page, choose Add from URL, paste the link copied from the user panel, and save it. After the first update, confirm that the correct configuration is selected, then choose an exit route from the list.

When a network extension is enabled for the first time, macOS may ask you to confirm permissions. This is a required system step for establishing a local network connection. Read the prompt and confirm as needed, then return to the client to check its status. If the menu bar shows only the client icon, click it to expand the route list and connection control; you do not need to import the subscription again.

Android

On Android, open the client download section in the user panel and get the 45VPN client for your system. Open it, find the configuration, subscription, or Add option, choose Import from link, paste the subscription address, and save it. Wait for the route list to finish updating, then choose a nearby route or one in the region associated with the target service.

The first connection may require Android to confirm a VPN connection. Confirm it and check whether the client status changes to Connected. If the system restricts the client from running in the background after you switch apps, long periods with the screen locked may affect the connection. Check the app's runtime permissions in system settings if needed, but avoid changing unfamiliar advanced network settings.

iOS

On iOS, first check the user panel for the available way to obtain a compatible client. After installing and opening it, go to the subscription, configuration, or remote file page and choose Add via link. Paste the subscription address and update it. When the route list appears, select the desired route, return to the main screen, and turn on the connection.

The first connection displays a confirmation screen for adding a VPN configuration. The client can establish a connection only after you confirm it. You generally do not need to add the configuration again; update the subscription and switch routes in the client instead. After changing devices or reinstalling, copy the current subscription again from the user panel.

Get the Client

Connect and verify that it works

After importing and updating the subscription successfully, choose a route near your current location and turn on the client connection. Wait until the client shows Connected, then reopen the website or app you want to access. Do not judge the result by the switch color alone: load a target page to confirm it opens normally, your session remains stable, and ordinary browsing works.

If the target service requires a specific region, choose an exit route in that region. For region-specific content, the route region should match the content region. 45VPN covers 110+ countries and 210+ routes, which you can switch between in the updated client list. For an overview of regional coverage and route types, see the Nodes page.

When verifying the connection, keep the default settings and avoid changing the system proxy, browser extensions, and client rules at the same time. Multiple network tools running together can make traffic routing difficult to identify. Once the basic connection works, restore only the software you need for work one item at a time, making it easier to identify the setting causing a problem.

If a website opens but an app behaves the same, fully quit the app and restart it. Some apps retain a session created before the connection was established and do not immediately reassess the network region after a route switch. You can also close and reopen the browser page, or use a new tab, instead of repeatedly refreshing the original error page.

Basic troubleshooting order for common issues

If the client shows no routes, return to subscription management and update it. Confirm that the selected item is the subscription you just added. Then check that the plan is active and that data remains available. An incomplete subscription address, leading or trailing spaces, or an example link from this guide can also cause an update to fail. Delete the incorrect item and copy the real subscription again from Account Overview.

If routes are available but none connects, disconnect first, switch to another route, and try again. If it still fails, quit other software that changes network routing and test between Wi-Fi and another currently available network. Change one condition at a time; reconnect and open the target page after each change to determine whether the issue comes from the local network, the selected route, or the target service.

If the connection works but speeds are poor, try a geographically closer route first, then switch to an exit region that matches the target service. Do not click through multiple routes in quick succession. Wait for the connection status to stabilize after each switch before loading anything. Local access congestion can also affect evening performance, so test route changes and access-network changes separately.

For login risk controls, interrupted long AI Tools sessions, or command-line and IDE plugins that do not follow the system connection, do not blindly change rules in this basic guide. These cases involve regional detection, persistent connections, and differences between web clients and developer tools; continue with the AI Tools access guide. If the order, account, or subscription status itself is abnormal, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket describing your system, the message shown by the client, and the steps you have already tried.

After completing the process, daily use only requires opening the client, updating the subscription, choosing a route, and connecting. When changing devices, repeat the “retrieve subscription—import into client—verify connection” flow. You do not need to purchase the same plan again or create a new account.
