Data handling rules

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how 45VPN handles data while providing cross-border network acceleration subscriptions, account management, order processing, and customer support. Using the service means that users have read this policy. Data is handled according to the principles of clear purpose, necessity, and restricted access, and is used only to deliver the service, protect accounts, process transactions, maintain operations, and meet applicable obligations.

Scope and processing principles

This policy applies to 45VPN marketing pages, the user panel, and features directly related to subscription services. Data independently handled by other websites, applications, or payment services is governed by their own privacy rules. 45VPN does not build interest profiles based on a user's use of any international route, nor does it sell account-related data.

Internal access follows the need-to-work principle. Only people responsible for account support, order verification, security maintenance, or compliance processing may access necessary information within the scope of their duties. Data is not used for automated decisions unrelated to subscription delivery.

Data collected and purposes of use

No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. During registration, the service handles the username, authentication credentials, and session information needed to maintain sign-in. This supports account identification, login verification, and prevention of unauthorized access. Do not reuse a password currently used for another service.

When purchasing or changing a plan, the system stores account-linked order records, including the selected item, amount due, order status, creation time, and payment result reference. These records are used to activate subscriptions, verify traffic entitlements, handle order disputes, process refund requests, and reconcile finances. Text, screenshots, or diagnostic information voluntarily submitted in a support ticket is used only to address the relevant issue.

The website may process basic analytics such as page visits, browser type, referring page, device category, and error information. This helps assess whether pages display correctly, identify faults, and improve content structure. Analytics does not require creating a behavioral profile of the international websites a user visits.

Anonymous no-logs and connection information

45VPN follows an anonymous no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users access through international routes, or retain destination addresses, page content, search content, or browsing history that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. The service does not combine specific network destinations with usernames into long-term records.

To calculate plan traffic usage, the system may process account-level usage totals, but these totals do not include destinations or content. Temporary technical information needed to maintain a connection is used only while the service is running and is not retained as long-term connection history. If a fault occurs, users may voluntarily submit client logs through a support ticket. Such materials are used only as needed to resolve the relevant issue and are removed after resolution or upon a deletion request, except where applicable obligations require retention.

Cookies and local storage

The website and user panel use necessary cookies or browser local storage to save session status, language selection, interface preferences, and security verification results. This allows users to stay signed in, return to the previous page, and avoid repeating settings. Disabling necessary storage may prevent sign-in status, language preferences, or panel features from being maintained correctly.

Basic analytics is used for page performance and operational analysis, not cross-site tracking. Users can view or clear locally stored data through their browser settings. After clearing it, users will generally need to sign in again and reselect relevant preferences.

Payment processing, retention, and deletion

Payments by Alipay / WeChat / USDT are processed by the relevant third-party payment service or network. 45VPN receives the payment status, transaction reference, and verification information needed to complete an order, but does not directly store complete payment credentials handled by third parties. How third parties collect and retain data is governed by their own rules.

Account information is retained while the account exists or for as long as needed to provide the service. Order records are retained for as long as needed for transaction verification, dispute handling, and applicable obligations. Analytics is aggregated, overwritten, or deleted after operational analysis is complete. Support materials are cleared as needed after the support matter ends. Different records serve different purposes, so they are not subject to one uniform retention period.

Users can sign in to the user panel and use support tickets to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account-related data. Deletion requests are handled after identity verification. Account identifiers, authentication data, and nonessential support materials may be deleted or de-identified. Orders, disputes, or security records that must be retained by law will remain stored within the necessary scope, with other uses restricted.

Policy updates and user choices

This policy may be updated when service features, data handling practices, or applicable rules change. The revised text will be published on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be adjusted accordingly. Significant changes involving data use or user rights will be prominently announced through the website or user panel.

Users can manage cookies and local storage through their browser, or request deletion of account data when the service is no longer needed. Before continuing to use the updated service, users should review the latest policy. If they disagree with the relevant handling practices, they may stop using the service and submit a data-handling request.
